Russian cement industry in 2017.

The paper analyzes the situation in the cement industry of Russia in 2017. The cement production in this year was lower than in 2016 and 2015, respectively, by 0.4 and 11.9%. New dry process capacities were commissioned. The amount and share of cement produced by the industry by the dry technology over the past year were close to those of 2016 and amounted to 30.0 million tonnes, or 54.8%.
The main technical and economic indicators of the industry are given - production, consumption, export and import of cement, specific energy inputs, the structure of consumed fuel, costs of natural and man-made raw materials, the trends of prices and costs of manufacture and sales of cement products.
