Construction of Sherobad cement plant.

In autumn of 2016, the Turkish DAL Teknik Makina Ticaret ve Sanayi A.S., part of the Dal Engineering Group consortium, under the contract with AO Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex, started construction of a cement plant with a production capacity of 1.5 million tonnes of Portland cement per year in the Sherobad district of the Surkhandarya oblast in the Republic of Uzbekistan. The plant will operate on a dry production method using state-of-the-art technologies. The article describes the production process and equipment of the plant. Completion of the construction is scheduled for September 2018.
