Issues of construction and repair of cement-concrete coatings of motorways and airfields.

Specifics of construction and repair of cement concrete coatings, with a view to homogeneity of cement and sand, properties of chemical additives, control of strength and frost resistance of road concrete are reviewed. Importance of stability of the properties of the concrete mix during transportation and technological breaks for high-quality work is discussed. The paper also makes an attempt to answer the question, why in Russia, unlike a number of other countries, there is no large-scale construction of roads with cement concrete coating.
