Holcim has entered into an agreement to acquire Fermacell. Fermacell is a European provider of sustainable walling and flooring solutions with projected 2026 net sales of around EUR 430 million.

This was announced by Alexander Dovgalo, CEO of the state-owned management company of the Belarusian Cement Company (BCK) holding, at the press conference “The Construction Industry of Belarus: Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow. Results and Achievements.”

Holcim reported 5.2 % organic net sales growth (7.9M CHF) and 11.5 % organic recurring EBIT growth (1.5M CHF) in the first half of 2026. Growth accelerated in the second quarter, with organic net sales increasing by 6.4 % and recurring EBIT by 13.1 %, prompting the company to upgrade its full-year guidance.

UltraTech Cement reported strong financial results for the first quarter of FY27 (April–June 2026). Consolidated net sales increased by 16 % year-on-year to Rs. 24,465 crore, while net profit rose by 17 % to Rs. 2,604 crore.

French low-carbon cement producer Hoffmann Green Cement Technologies reported record financial results for the first half of 2026, driven by strong demand for its clinker-free cement products.

According to the All Pakistan Cement Manufacturers Association (APCMA), total cement dispatches increased by 7.2 % year-on-year to 50.5Mt in the 2025–26 financial year, up from 47.1Mt in the previous fiscal year.
