Knauf divests its Russian business to local management

In light of recent events, the Knauf Group has decided to sell its business in Russia after more than 30 years of operation in the country.

The company wants to fully transfer the entire business in Russia, including raw material extraction, production and sales, to local management in order to save jobs for more than 4,000 employees in the future.

The transaction is pending approval by the relevant authorities in Russia.
