UltraTech has installed a high-pressure grinding roll (HPGR) for pre-grinding of Portland composite cement with high slag content at its Hirma cement plant in India. The equipment is fitted with High Chrome Bandage (HCB) rollers, which, according to the company, maintain performance at near-new levels after 3,500 operating hours and provide improved material grip.
