Yakutcement (part of Vostokcement) started the 2024 navigation season by loading construction materials on two ships at once.
Last weekend, 600 tons of cement and 250 tons of crushed stone were loaded on the motor vessel ST-608, 1,000 tons of cement - on the Belomorsky. On May 28, 1,600 tons of cement were loaded on the third ship "Lebedev".
Navigation lasts about half a year, starts in May and ends in October. Construction materials are shipped to consumers in towns and villages of Yakut uluses along the Lena River.
In preparation for the navigation period Yakutcement has accumulated cement at the quay - 33,000 tons in MKRs.
In addition, during the navigation period, the Mokhsogollokh quay will receive vessels with cinders and gypsum for cement production.
