India’s Ambuja Cement continues the implementation of its capacity expansion program. By the end of October-December 2026, the company’s total capacity stands at 109 Mta of cement and 66 Mta of clinker.
According to the updated plan, by the end of March 2026 (the end of FY2026 in India) the company aims to increase its capacity to 117 Mta of cement and 69 Mta of clinker per year.
The expansion will be supported by the commissioning of four grinding units and one integrated unit. The new grinding capacities will be located at:

Salai Banwa — 2.4 Mta

Dahej — 1.2 Mta

Kalamboli — 1.0 Mta

Bathinda — 1.2 Mta
In addition, the Jodhpur integrated unit (Penna) project will provide 3.0 Mta of clinker capacity and 2.0 Mta of cement capacity.
The company is also planning further expansion in the next financial year. In 1Q FY2027, two additional projects are scheduled to be commissioned:
