In 12 months, the plant produced 0.8 million tons of cement – 2 % more than in 2021. The company produced, in particular, 0.5 million tons of CEM I 42.5N and 0.1 million tons of CEM II/A-G 32.5B. These types of products proved to be the most in demand on the market last year.
Since January 2022, the range of the plant has been supplemented with special cement CEM I 42.5N AP, intended for the production of aerodrome concrete coatings, and non-additive cement CEM 0 52.5N, used in the construction of particularly strong strategic facilities. In total, 22.5 thousand and 13.3 thousand tons of these types of products were produced in 2022, respectively.
In the period from January to December, 0.75 million tons of cement produced by the Angarskcement were sold. At the same time, 0.3 million tons of building materials were sent to consumers by rail, 0.3 million tons by motor transport, including almost 100 thousand tons by the company's own cement trucks (+11 % to the level of 2021).
For 12 months, Angarskcement shipped 0.4 million tons of cement in bulk, 0.3 million tons in soft containers. Significantly – by 66 % compared to last year – cement sales volume on pallets in paper bags of 25 and 50 kg increased, it amounted to 20 thousand tons.
In the new economic conditions, the company continued to implement a program for the modernization of equipment. One of the main projects completed in 2022 was the technical re-equipment of the closed-cycle grinding system with the installation of a separator on cement mills No. 6 and 7. As a result, the plant has increased the production efficiency of all types of cement, especially high-quality ones.
Projects aimed at increasing the level of energy security have also been further developed: the technical re–equipment of the RU-6 kV transformer substation No. 5 with the replacement of high-voltage cells, the construction of a cable overpass from the RU-6 kV transformer substation No. 5 to the electrical equipment of the kiln department and an overpass from transformer substation No. 5 to substation 110/35/6 Tsemzavod. It is planned to complete the work in the second half of 2023.
The firm growth in 2022 was shown by the raw materials division of the enterprise. Quarry Pass, located in Slyudyanka, increased production performance by 15.3% to the level of 2021. 920 thousand tons of marble were extracted for the production of cement raw materials. Two new mining dump trucks, each with a load capacity of 60 tons, have been received for mining redistribution.
Since the spring of 2022, all four clinker kilns have been in operation at the Angarsk Cement and Mining Plant: the fourth, which was idle for many years, was repaired and put back into operation.
An important event of the past year was the certification of the quality management system of Angarskcement in accordance with the domestic standard GOST R ISO 9001-2015 and the similar international standard ISO 9001:2015. The results obtained confirm the high efficiency of the plant.
In addition, since 2022, the plant has started to supply products in new containers. The design of the kraft bag has changed, commercial names have appeared: "SIBCEM EXPERT 500", "SIBCEM PRO 450" and "SIBCEM NORMAL 400".
