Aravan Cement Plant in Kyrgyzstan Replaced Chinese Packing Machines With Russian Units

Friday, November 8 — Russian manufacturer of equipment and process systems for dry-products, Vselug, modernized the packaging line of the Aravan cement plant in the Osh region of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan. As Vselug informed the “Cement and Its Applications” journal on November 8, Russian packing machines replaced Chinese-made units.

At the request of the Southern Plant of Building Materials managing the Aravan Cement Plant, Vselug manufactured and delivered two eight-module rotary turbine packing machines with a capacity of up to 2400 bags per hour. The machines were delivered as part of a reconstruction project of the existing cement packing section to replace the Chinese units at the enterprise.

The modernization project included four truck bag loaders for 14-m bodies and front loading. Each filling packing is connected with two bag loaders by a conveyor system. The scope of supply for packing machines includes a dust deposition system.

The Aravan cement plant in the Osh region has a capacity of 1 million tons of cement and 2.5 million tons of clinker a year. It produces semi-dry Portland cement M400-D20 and CEM II/A-SH.

Another Kyrgyz cement plant, Kant Cement of United Cement Group, installed equipment produced by Vselug this year. Timlyui Cement plant in Buryatia and Planet Gyps plant in Adygea also installed Vselug equipment earlier this year.
