The Interregional Department of the Federal Service for Supervision of Natural Resources Management in the Saratov and Penza Regions has issued a Comprehensive Environmental Permit to Asia Cement.
The Comprehensive Environmental Permit (CEP) is a unified authorization document, it contains mandatory requirements in the field of environmental protection and replaces a number of authorization documents that were previously obtained by enterprises in accordance with the requirements of the Federal Law “On Environmental Protection”.
"Asia Cement became the second enterprise in the Penza region to obtain a CEP.
The process of obtaining a CEP included the development and approval of the necessary documentation, inventory of emission sources and waste generation. The technological indicators of the best available technologies were also calculated.
Obtaining a CEP for the Asia Cement plant is a big step in controlling the environmental safety of production.
