Belarus and Kazakhstan agree to expand cooperation in the construction sector

An agreement was reached on expanding cooperation between Belarus and Kazakhstan in the construction sector during the meeting between Minister of Architecture and Construction of Belarus Ruslan Parkhamovich and Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development of Kazakhstan Beibut Atamkulov, reported the press service of the Ministry of Construction and Architecture of the Republic of Belarus.

As Parkhamovich emphasized, today the production of basic building materials in Belarus is export-oriented. The construction sector is ready for multilateral cooperation and is interested in developing and building up trade and economic ties with Kazakhstan.

The minister also stressed that Belarus has significant experience in exporting construction services and is ready to assist in the construction of modern and comfortable housing. “Belarusian specialists have shown themselves well at foreign construction sites: their work and its results are highly appreciated and are distinguished by first-class quality,” noted Ruslan Parkhamovich.

In turn, Atamkulov informed his Belarusian colleague about the main areas of activity of the construction complex of Kazakhstan and expressed his readiness to further develop bilateral cooperation in the production of such building materials as thermal insulation & roofing materials, floor coverings, etc.
