The company invested more than 30 million rubles in the repair of cement mill No. 16.
This is the first time in the history of grinding shop at the Maltsovsky Portland Cement (part of the CEMROS Group) that the feed cover has been replaced. The feed cover is one of the main elements of the cement mill, which ensures the normal operation of the grinding unit.
The limited space in the shop required the plant's technical service to act with high precision during the repair. However, despite all the difficulties, the cement mill feed cover was successfully installed.
"The current repair campaign is distinguished by major repair activities, and requires not only serious financial and labor investments, but also measured, and sometimes unorthodox engineering decisions. The repair of cement mill No. 16 is only one of the projects successfully implemented during the repair campaign, for which a total of about 757 million rubles was allocated," commented Viktor Pecheguzov, Technical Director of Maltsovsky Portland Cement.
