Cement production in Azerbaijan increased by 8% in January-June

Azerbaijan produced construction materials worth 374.4 million manats in January-June 2021, a 40.2% increase compared to the first half of 2020. Cement production amounted to 1,702,000 tons, 8.4% more compared to the same period last year.

The production of gypsum for construction was 12.300 tons (33.7% increase), building blocks and bricks from cement - 37 000 tons (76.2% growth), ready-mixed concrete - 1 230.100 tons (41.6% growth), building lime - 17.500 tons (29.6% growth), prefabricated concrete structures - 36.700 cubic meters (2.1 times growth).
