In 12 months of 2020, enterprises in Tajikistan produced 4.24 million tons of cement, which is 1 % more than in January-December 2019. Over 1.31 million tons of cement were exported abroad.
The production volume of ready-mixed concrete for the same period increased by 24.3 % and amounted to 436,900 m3. Lime production increased by 39.7 % and amounted to 17,600 tons. The volume of gypsum production in 2020 decreased by 18.2 % and amounted to 8,200 tons.
According to the Ministry of Industry, three Tajik-Chinese joint ventures account for about 82 % of the volume of cement production.
