The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Construction of the Russian Federation signed a cooperation agreement aimed at increasing the competitiveness of Russian building materials abroad and accelerating the modernization of their production, the press service of the Ministry of Industry and Trade reported.
The document will contribute to the effective interaction of ministries in this area and the achievement of targets for national projects, the Ministry of Industry and Trade noted.
"The implementation of the priority goals of cooperation is aimed at establishing a ban on the indication of the use of specific trademarks of industrial equipment included in the sections of design and estimate documentation in order to stimulate the use of domestic equipment and building materials; carrying out an analysis of the cost of the equipment life cycle, including an analysis of the cost of domestic equipment, even in case of excess of its cost over imported counterparts," - the message says.
In addition, work will be organized to develop the institute of standard design for planning the production of appropriate building materials used in the construction of facilities, the design of which will be carried out using standard design documentation.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade emphasized that the signed document will enhance the competitiveness of the industry of Russian building materials and construction organizations, construction industry enterprises in the domestic and foreign markets, taking into account the international agenda aimed at achieving carbon neutrality.
The agreement will also help accelerate the modernization of the construction production base with a focus on the primary production of innovative and energy-efficient materials, products and structures.
