Dyckerhoff Completes Reorganizing Russian Assets Under SLK Cement Brand

A major German cement producer Dyckerhoff completes the reorganization of Sukholozhskcement into SLK Cement. SLK Cement is a brand representing Russian assets of the Italian holding Buzzi Unicem.

According to Buzzi Unicem, the new legal entity was registered on December 2, but the project has not yet been finalized. It is planned that ‘Dückerhoff Korkino Cement’ is going to join SLK Cement early next year. SLK Cement will then be represented by the branches of Sukholozhskcement, Korkino and Omsk, as well as TsemTrans transport company.

The abbreviation ‘SLK’ — the new brand and the new Russian legal entity — stands for the municipalities where Buzzi Unicem’s full cycle cement plants are located: the city of Sukhoi Log, Sverdlovsk region and Korkinsky district of Chelyabinsk region.

“We will continue to improve the production process, our quality and customer service, as well as the speed and efficiency of administrative procedures,” says General Director of SLK Cement Andrei Immoreev.

The presence in two federal districts, the growing scale of production and serious investment volumes allow SLK Cement to be one of the five leading cement producers in the country and a respectable representative of Buzzi Unicem in Russia.

A new website launched along with the legal reorganization. The resource contains information on the development strategy, products and activities of Russian companies now operating under the new brand. The website is designed in accordance with the corporate style of Buzzi Unicem.

The decision on the reorganization was approved at the extraordinary meeting of shareholders of Sukholozhskcement on August 6. The new data entered the Unified State Register of Legal Entities on August 13.
