'EUROCEMENT Group' Invested Over 5.5 Billion RUB in Repairs Campaign

The enterprises of 'EUROCEMENT group' — the largest Russian cement holding — finalized the 2020 repairs campaign. The primary and auxiliary equipment of the holding’s cement plants was subject to repairs and modernization. The investment amounted to over 5.5 billion rubles.

Subject to repairs and modernization was materials processing, calcining, grinding, and packaging equipment. Heavy mining equipment, rolling stock, road transport, power supply and dedusting equipment were also repaired.

Belgorodsky Cement plant put an automated packaging line into operation. Kavkazcement plant their hooked up their dedicated gas-piston thermal power plant to an online mobile monitoring system.

The repairs and modernization campaign was completed amidst the COVID-19 pandemic with no delays and in full compliance with preventive measures and official safety protocols.

Foreign equipment manufacturers took a direct part in the repairs and modernization campaign supervising the process remotely.

'EUROCEMENT group' includes 19 cement plants in Russia, Uzbekistan and Ukraine. The production capacity of all the holding’s enterprises sits at over 60 million tons of cement and over 11 million m3 of concrete yearly. 'EUROCEMENT group’ has a non-ferrous raw materials base of over 5.5 billion tons.
