EUROCEMENT’s Lipetskcement plant was selected as a cement supplier for the construction of a multiplex in the center of Tula with an aqua park. For the construction of the first of the three slabs of the reinforced concrete base of this building, 1,300 tons of cement CEM I 42.5N have already been supplied.
The complexity of the task was in the organization of continuous processes for the production and delivery of a significant amount of concrete mixtures (over 3,000 m3) to a construction site. The foundation slab was poured in 26 hours. 53 units of special equipment and over 130 people were involved in the works.
The height of the multiplex building, located in the historical center of Tula, will be 43 meters. The aqua park will be located on the upper floors, which is a unique architectural solution.
The concrete mix was made by the specialists of the ‘Tula ready-mix concrete plant’. After one week of testing, laboratory analysis showed the concrete slab to be 100 % strong.

The pouring of concrete mixes for the construction of the second slab of the future Tula multiplex with an aqua park is planned for May. This will require 1,400 more tons of cement produced by EUROCEMENT group,” said Alexei Kharchenko, vice president for sales and marketing of EUROCEMENT group.
