Over the past 14 months, 109,000m³ of reinforced concrete (RCC) has been poured at the site. Major civil works for the process buildings and clinker production facilities are expected to be completed by 15 September 2026, with around 3,000m³ of concrete work remaining.
Mechanical erection has reached 18,500 tonnes, while fabrication is 96 % complete. Mechanical erection for the clinkerisation section is targeted for completion by November 2026, followed by completion of the cement grinding section by February 2027.
According to previously reported figures, the plant will have a cement production capacity of 4.5Mt/yr and a clinker capacity of 3.5Mt/yr.
