Holcim has entered into an agreement to acquire Heinrich Teufel GmbH & Co.KG, a member of the regional aggregate and ready-mixed concrete market in southern Germany.
Heinrich Teufel GmbH & Co.KG is headquartered in Strasberg (Baden-Württemberg). The company owns a limestone quarry, an asphalt plant and a ready-mix concrete plant, as well as a concrete waste recycling and demolition unit. The company employs about 160 people, most of them at the plant in Strassberg. The transaction is subject to approval by the antimonopoly authorities.
