The sanitary industrial laboratory of Topkinsky cement plant is accredited in the field of environmental control

The sanitary industrial laboratory of Topkinsky Cement LLC (subsidiary of Sibcem) is accredited in the national accreditation system as a testing laboratory and is included in the register of accredited establishments.

The procedure for accreditation of the sanitary-industrial laboratory of the Topkinsky Cement Plant was carried out in several stages. As part of the preparation, the division was equipped with additional equipment, including two gas analyzers and a hygrometer with a humidity and temperature probe, which are used for instrumental measurements. In May, in the format of a videoconference, the final stage of the conformity assessment of the plant as a testing laboratory took place, as a result, the plant received documents confirming the successful completion of all control activities.

In accordance with the approved scope of accreditation, the laboratory is now entitled to measure the parameters of industrial emissions into the atmosphere, the mass concentration of dust, carbon monoxide, nitrogen dioxide, sulfur dioxide, noise in the air.

“Control of pollutant emissions from organized stationary sources is carried out in accordance with the program of industrial environmental control, and the efficiency of gas cleaning plants is checked in accordance with the approved schedule,” commented Alexey Ospelnikov, Managing Director of Topkinsky Cement. “Accreditation of our laboratory will allow the company to significantly save on payment for services rendered by third-party environmental control organizations - on average, such costs amount to about one million seven hundred thousand rubles per year”.
