CEM II/A-S 32.5R DO Portland cement produced by Sibcem's Iskitimcement was awarded a diploma of the finalist of the federal stage of the All-Russian competition “100 best goods of Russia”. The event was attended by Chairperson of the Regional Quality Commission and Head of the Standardization, Metrology, and Certification Center of Novosibirsk Olga Morozova, and Yuri Bernadsky, President of the Novosibirsk City Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The plant obtained the right to mark its products with the logo of the "100 best goods of Russia" program for the next two years: place it on documentation, websites and advertising structures. At the same time, in accordance with the signed Declaration of Quality, the company is obliged to ensure the stability of quality indicators and maintain the achieved high level of consumer properties of products.
Production of CEM II/A-S 32.5R was launched by Iskitimcement before the start of the 2020 construction season. Concrete for the base of highways, made of this brand of cement, has high strength, frost and wear resistance, as well as impact strength. In accordance with the federal Strategy for the development of the building materials industry 2030, the share of concrete roads in the total number of new highways in the country should increase to 50 %.
Iskitimcement is preparing for an increase in demand for road cement grades. The first batch of a new type of product was shipped on April 28 for the construction of highways in the Altai Territory. In total, since April the share of CEM II/A-S 32.5R DO in the total production volume amounted to 3 % (24,000 tons).
