KNAUF company produces plaster, putty and gypsum boards using German technology at two enterprises in the Bukhara region. KNAUF is currently building its third plant in Uzbekistan. The plant with a production capacity of 17 million m2 of gypsum boards and 40 thousand tons of dry gypsum mixtures per year will be located in the Fergana Valley. The commissioning of the new plant will meet the high demand for these products in the region and reduce the delivery time, as well as the logistics costs that fall on the consumer.
To date, investments in the construction of the OOO "KNAUF GIPS FERGANA" company have been utilized by 70%: the construction of the building and installation of the plasterboard line have been completed, the equipment of the gypsum plant is being installed. The start-up of the plant is scheduled for the end of 2021.
