LafargeHolcim launched a new product for construction in the Moscow region

LafargeHolcim launched the production of white thin-glue for blocks at the Shchurovsky cement plant. Designed for the construction of external and internal load-bearing walls and partitions in construction, this product is suitable for aerated concrete and silicate blocks. The modified dry mix is based on Holcim white cement, due to which the strength and durability of the joints, as well as the uniformity of the appearance of the masonry, are achieved during the construction of blocks. White glue allows you to abandon subsequent finishing work - the product gives the finished structure an aesthetically complete look, as it hides chips and irregularities in the building material.

“The launch of the new product was preceded by another development of the company: in 2020 LafargeHolcim introduced to the market cement adhesive for blocks based on gray cement in two versions (EXPERT - for low-rise buildings and Standard - for high-rise buildings). Thus, today the product portfolio of dry mixes from a cement manufacturer is represented by 8 products,” said Evgeny Lebedev, Marketing Director of LafargeHolcim.

A significant part of the outer walls in low-rise construction from aerated concrete blocks is not finished in the first year of construction. White glue solves the problem of sloppy smudges, the masonry turns out to be as uniform as possible in color with aerated concrete, for some walls on such a product, finishing is not required. Holcim white block glue is characterized by increased ductility, high strength and frost resistance: a thin 1 mm seam minimizes cold bridges.
