The most powerful cement production line in Iran was put into operation

Iran's largest cement production line has been put into operation at Abyek Cement Complex located in Alborz Province. The launch ceremony was attended by Iranian Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade Alireza Razm Hosseini.

Razm Hosseini stated that the country's cement production capacity is about 80 million tons per year, while the domestic demand for it is about 70 million tons per year.

According to Razm Hosseini, currently over 80% of the cement production plants in the country have been established by Iranian companies.
At this time, there are 96 cement production lines in operation in Iran at 74 plants, almost half of them are less than 10 years old.
