According to the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Marat Khusnullin, in first 3 months of 2021 a total of 871 permits were issued in Russia for the construction of apartment buildings with a total living area of 7.2 million m2. In the first quarter of 2020, 759 permits were issued for the construction of 4.7 million m2 of housing.
These projects will be implemented on the territory of 77 constituent entities of the Russian Federation. Most of new permits for the construction of residential real estate were issued in Moscow (1272 thousand m2), then Rostov region (497.3 thousand m2), the Republic of Tatarstan (391.1 thousand square meters), Sverdlovsk region (332.3 thousand m2). m2), the Tyumen region (302.9 thousand m2), the Republic of Bashkortostan (292.9 thousand m2) and the Primorsky Territory (280.9 thousand m2).
