QA & Process Control Lab Launched at ATOM Cement

A product quality assurance and process control laboratory is now operational at the new ATOM Cement plant, a subsidiary of the Russian Atomstroykompleks development company. The company intends to export ATOM Cement’s products abroad. The modern equipment of the laboratory allows to ensure the products’ compliance with API standards, which is also necessary for export.

The laboratory controls the physical and chemical properties of raw materials, clinker and cement. Physical, mechanical, chemical and mineralogical control of products is carried out on equipment of European and Australian production. Equipment’s software can easily be used by laboratory technicians of any level of training.

ATOM Cement is a priority investment project in the Sverdlovsk Region of Russia. The enterprise has already received the first trial batch of clinker. The first batch of cement at the enterprise is planned for production in early December, along with the ceremonial launch of the plant.

Atomstroykompleks is the largest construction holding in the Ural region, and the only full cycle developer. Atomstroykompleks has its own production base, a fleet of construction equipment, contracting facilities and a design institute. The holding includes 12 factories that fully meet its needs.
