Uzbekistan's Yasin Cement Expects New Production Line Running by July 2021

At the meeting of the founders of the Uzbek-Chinese joint venture "Farg'ona yasin qurilish mollari" (Yasin Cement) with the administration of the Fergana region, the parties discussed the construction of the second stage of the cement plant. In 2021, it is intended to attract up to US$ 120 million for the implementation of this project. The launch of the new production line is scheduled for July 2021.

With the launch of the new line, the enterprise will be able to produce up to 2 million tons of products per year and will provide about 700 new jobs. The current design capacity of the plant is 2500 tons of products per day (about 900,000 tons per year). The first stage of the project saw US$ 80 million invested back in 2019.

The first stage of the plant was completed in six months. Deposits with huge reserves of raw materials are located nearby. Part of the plant's products will be exported. One of the owners of "Farg'ona yasin qurilish mollari" is the Chinese construction holding Shaanxi Xiangsheng Group.
