Rotary kiln №1 has been repaired at TimlyuyСement Plant

The maintenance of the rotary №1 has been completed at TimlyuyCement (a subsidiary of Sibcem).

At the stage of technical inspection of the unit, many defects were revealed, including the deterioration of the lining, cups and watering cans of recuperators, as well as foreplates, the presence of cracks on the shell, partial wear of the chain curtain.

Specialists dismantled the worn-out refractory lining and installed a new one on a 27.5-meter section, 300 oval heat-resistant chains and 570 oval hinged chains were replaced in the chain curtain of the kiln. A complete replacement of the watering cans and glasses of the recuperator unit has also been made. In addition, during the repair of the unit, the foreplates were updated, cracks were welded on the shell of the rotary kiln. To eliminate cold air suction, the flasher valve under the cyclone of coal mill №1 has been replaced with a star feeder.
