A subsidiary of Vostokcement holding company Teploozersky Cement plant launched a rotary kiln #3 after repair works were complete. The axis calibration of the kiln was necessary for continual operation, while the worn-out lining sections of the kiln were replaced. The repairs of the kiln #1 are about to be completed in early April.
“Even slight deviations lead to increased wear-and-tear of the bandages and rollers, the danger of cracks on the shells of the kiln, the lining resistance deterioration and increased energy consumption,” the plant representatives say.
The rotary kiln #1 currently undergoes: the repairs of recuperators and a smoke exhaust system, the replacement of the roller on the roller support and lining replacement in the sintering zone.
The design capacity of the Teploozersky cement plant is 815,000 tpa. In 2020, Smikom plans to develop a project documentation for the new production line at Teploozersky plant, since the cement demand is growing.
