In January-November 2020, Saudi Arabian enterprises produced 48.29 million tons of cement, which is 21.9 % more than in the same period in 2019. The volume of clinker production for the same period increased by 4.8 % and amounted to 44.77 million tons.
The volume of cement production in November increased by 16.3 % compared to November last year and amounted to 5 million tons. Clinker production for the same month increased by 5.5 % to 4.28 million tonnes.
The volume of cement consumption in the country for eleven months of 2020 increased by 21.9 %, amounting to 46.07 million tons.
The volume of export shipments of cement for the same period increased by 12.2 % and amounted to 1.94 million tons. The volume of export shipments of clinker in January-November decreased by 27.2 % compared to January-November 2019 and amounted to 3.78 million tons.
