Sibcem Reports 2020 Results at Seven of Its Enterprises

In 2020, Sibcem’s cement plants produced 4.7 % less cement than in 2019 — about 4.6 million tons. The best YoY result was reported by Krasnoyarsk Cement, showing an increase of 3 %.

Topkinskiy Cement produced about 2.1 million tons of cement in 2020, an increase of 6 % YoY. Iskitimcement remained at the 2019 level with 979,800 tons. Krasnoyarsk Cement produced 627,900 tons (up by 3 % YoY). Angarskcement produced 581,300 tons — down by 8 % YoY. TimlyuiCement produced 318,900 tons of cement, which is down 14 % YoY.

Volna Plant produced 6.3 million m2 of chrysotile cement products, up by 1 % YoY. Sibirskiy Beton company shipped 214,100 m3 of concrete and mortars — down by 21 % YoY.

“In 2020, the capacity of the cement market in Siberia, as well as Buryatia and the Trans-Baikal Territory, which were previously part of it, decreased by 1.1 %, to 5.2 million tons,” comments Gennady Rasskazov, First Vice President of Sibcem. — Despite the difficulties associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, we worked steadily through the year. We consider Angarsk and Iskitim cement plants becoming part of Sibcem the main event of the year”.
