Sibcem’s Iskitimcement received the Novosibirsk Brand award at the regional competition for products, services and technologies in the category ‘Quality of Building Materials and Products’. The expert commission evaluated the contestants according to a number of criteria, in particular, according to financial and economic indicators of work, the dynamics of the company's development, personnel qualifications, compliance of services or products with quality and safety standards, and reputation in the market.
69 leading enterprises and organizations in 30 nominations the official 'Novosibirsk Brand' award. A laureate's diploma was presented to the managing director of AO Iskitimcement Vladimir Skakun by the First Deputy Mayor of Novosibirsk Gennady Zakharov and Chairman of the Council of the Novosibirsk City Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vladimir Zhenov at the awards ceremony on January 21.
“The plant has been producing cement for large-scale construction in the region for more than 85 years. We are constantly working to improve the quality of products, expand the range and develop services for customers, invest in modernization and environmental projects, improve the personnel qualifications, and attract young specialists. Another ‘Novosibirsk Brand’ award proves that the shareholders have chosen the right strategy for managing the enterprise,” comments Vladimir Skakun, Managing Director of Iskitimcement.
Iskitimcement also won the Novosibirsk Brand competition in 2007 in the ‘Sustainable Development and Economic Performance’ nomination, and in the ‘Quality of Building Materials and Products’ nomination in 2008 and 2019.
The competition has been held regularly since 2001. The project was organized by the Novosibirsk City Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Interregional Association of Business Leaders with the participation of the Novosibirsk City Hall. Participants of the event are companies operating in the fields of healthcare, construction, industrial production and innovation.
Iskitimcement is one of the leading enterprises in the cement industry in Siberia. The plant supplies cement to construction sites of the Novosibirsk Region and Altai Territory, Khanty-Mansiysk and Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Districts, Kemerovo, Omsk, Tomsk, Tyumen, Kurgan regions. Also, cement is exported to Kazakhstan. Most of the plant's production goes to the construction of residential buildings, the production of reinforced concrete structures, asbestos-cement products, ready-mixed concrete and dry mixes.
