The Turkish Cement Manufacturers Association (TÜRKÇİMENTO) reported production results for January-October 2020. The volume of cement production in the country during the specified period increased by 24.2 % YoY and amounted to 59.2 million tons.
The volume of cement production in October 2020 amounted to 7.9 million tons, which is 31.5 % more than in October 2019.
The volume of clinker production in ten months of 2020 amounted to 58.6 million tons, which is 22.2 % more than in the same period in 2019. The volume of clinker production in October increased by 27.3 % compared to last October and amounted to 7 million tons.
The volume of cement consumption in Turkey increased by 19.7 % compared to the same period last year and amounted to 45.6 million tons.
The volume of cement exports for ten months of 2020 amounted to 13.5 million tons, which is 44.1 % more than in January-October 2019. The volume of clinker exports for the same period increased by 19.2 % and amounted to 11.7 million tons.
