Sibcem announced the appointment of Artyom Sofyanov to the position of Managing Director in its subsidiary Sibirskiy Beton. Previously, he served as director of the Novosibirsk branch of SMART, a supplier of finishing materials. Mr Sofyanov graduated from Altai State University with a degree in rocket engines engineering. He received an MBA degree in Novosibirsk State University of Economics and Management for the preparation and training of management personnel.
“For me, this is a serious challenge that requires maximum effort, responsibility and dedication. In the future, I will continue to modernize the production and technical base of Sibirskiy Beton, develop and improve the company's commercial block. I count on my team and I am sure that by joint efforts we will lead the enterprise to success,” stated Artem Sofyanov.
The company currently comprises 10 concrete plants and a cement terminal. The total capacity of Sibirskiy Beton’s enterprises is over 650 m³/hour, with over 30 brands in the product range. The company also has mobile concrete batching plants to help produce concrete and mortars on site of a facility under construction. The vehicle fleet includes more than 50 units of special equipment delivering products directly to customers' facilities.
