The Topkinskiy Cement produced 958,300 tons of products, down 6% year-on-year. Iskitim-Cement produced 495.2 thousand tons of building materials, the increase is 9% compared to January-June 2020. Other cement plants of the holding company also finished the reporting period in the black: Krasnoyarsk Cement produced 306,500 tons of products (+4%); Angarsk-Cement - 310,300 tons (+8%); Timlyui-Cement - 174,500 tons (+6%).
The Volna factory produced 3.5 million square meters of chrysotile cement materials in six months - 51% more than a year earlier. Siberian Concrete shipped 103.7 thousand cubic meters of concrete and mortars to consumers, improving its January-June 2020 result by 2%.
"According to our estimates, the cement consumption in the main regions where the holding company ships its products - the Siberian Federal District, as well as Buryatia and the Trans-Baikal Territory - in the first half of 2021 exceeded the corresponding figure for 2020 by about 8%," says Gennady Rasskazov, First Vice President of AO HC Sibcem. - "We hope the market will continue to be in the black - in 2021 we expect the growth to be within 5%".
