The State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan published data on the construction from January to June 2021, which amounted to 48.6 trillion soums. Compared with the same period of last year, the growth rate was 100.1%. The state organizations performed construction for over 1.971 billion soums (4.1%) and non-state organizations for almost 46.639 billion soums (95.9%).

Big specialized organizations in this period have built projects for 12,114.5 billion soums. The amount of construction work performed by small businesses and microfirms made up almost 27 trillion 546 billion soums.

Real estate market in Uzbekistan was studied in July and according to the results the prices rose. In the second quarter of 2021, housing prices on the secondary market increased by an average of 5.72% compared to the previous quarter.
