Vostokcement’s Spasskcement plant begins renovation of its cement mill No. 4 replacing armor plates in both chambers, intermediate diaphragm and outlet diaphragm, feeder device and feeder screw will be replaced.
The renovation was planned back in October 2019, as per Vostokcement. The new parts were purchased from the Spanish company Estanda (except for grinding media). The renovation will boost the mill’s output by 12 % and increase the fineness of cement. A water injection system will also be installed later, to reduce the temperature inside the mill.
The design capacity of Spasskcement is 3.13 million tpa.
