A modern electric precipitator from a European manufacturer was commissioned at the process line No. 1 of Topkinskiy Cement (a subsidiary of Sibcem Holding Company).
The installation of gas cleaning equipment on the Rotary kiln No. 1, commissioned in 1966, began in 2019. The work was carried out by specialists of a separate subdivision of OOO Sibcemstroy (a subsidiary of AO Holding Company Sibcem) in Topki, while employees of the manufacturing company supervised the installation remotely - they monitored the progress of events by means of photo and video recordings.
The new three-field ESP will enable the plant to reduce the annual emissions of inorganic dust with silica content below 20% from Kiln No. 1 by 89.16%.
Alexei Ospelnikov, Managing Director of OOO "Topkinskiy Cement", said that about RUB 365 million was allocated for the purchase and installation of the electric precipitator in 2019-2021. In 2010, a similar ESP was installed at the process line No. 5, in 2012 - at the fourth line, in 2019 - at the third line. Future plans include the implementation of a similar project on Kiln No. 2.
In 2021 the Siberian Cement Holding Company will allocate more than RUB 240 million for ecological modernization of Topkinskiy plant. In the current year the financial resources earmarked to improve the level of environmental safety of all the company's production assets will amount to about RUB 628 million.
