The implementation of the Clean Air federal project discussed at Krasnoyarsk Cement Plant

During the meeting, Dmitry Kireev, Managing Director of Krasnoyarsk Cement, spoke about the measures to reduce the environmental impact the company carried out in 2017-2021.

A new 130-meter-high chimney has been built at Krasnoyarsk Cement Plant. An automatic emission control measuring system (AECMS) has been put into operation ahead of the deadline stipulated by the current legislation. The equipment analyses the main parameters of the gas-air mixture entering a single chimney for three kilns of the plant, and transmits information to the Ministry of Ecology and Rational Nature Management of the region.

The technical re-equipment of the rotary kiln No. 5 was carried out with the installation of a multi-channel PYRO-JET burner (Germany) and a SCHEUCH bag filter (Austria) on the coal mill No. 5. Also, a modern Swiss-made electrofilter is mounted on kiln No. 5. In addition, the technical re-equipment of the primary limestone crushing department aspiration system of the Gorny workshop was carried out.

The head of the project office highly appreciated the work of Krasnoyarsk Cement within the framework of the federal Clean Air project implementation, especially noting the prompt commissioning of a certified automatic emission control system that performs continuous measurement and data transmission.
