The Nigerian company BUA Cement will commission a new cement production line

BUA Cement has signed a contract for the construction of a new cement line with a capacity of 3.0 million tons of cement per year in Sokoto State in Northwest Nigeria.

 The US$240m project shall be operational in about 20 months and will be powered by the company’s Kogi LNG plant. 

The project shall increase BUA’s total cement capacity to 20 Mta and shall boost Nigeria’s Northwest and other regional markets.
