A provision has been excluded from the Federal Law on Traffic Management that stipulates the need to develop traffic management projects as part of the design documentation for a capital construction facility.
In accordance with the provisions of Federal Law N 188-FZ of 06/11/2021 "On Amendments to the Federal Law" On the Organization of Road Traffic in the Russian Federation and on Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation", road owners are now obliged to develop projects for traffic management, including for the period of operation of roads or their sections, only as a separate document.
This law, developed by the Ministry of Transport of Russia in the framework of the execution of orders from the President of Russia, is aimed at optimizing procedures in the field of construction of capital construction projects. In particular, the new law will reduce the time required for approval of project documentation and obtaining construction permits.
