Qizilqumsement, the largest manufacturer of building materials in the Republic of Uzbekistan, has published a document containing the company's policy in the application of an integrated management system (IMS), regarding production, safety, environmental protection and energy efficiency. As part of the implementation of the policy, the main strategic goals of the enterprise were identified.
The company has published a document containing the main provisions of its policy in the field of application of an integrated management system in the production of cement and lime. Among the main strategic goals established by the document are the following:
- increase production volumes and expand the product line;
- ensure compliance with legislative, international rules and norms in the field of quality, environmental protection, industrial safety, health and safety at work, consumption of energy resources and energy conservation, energy efficiency;
- improve customer satisfaction;
- design the construction project of the fourth clinker production line;
- install new energy efficient compressors;
- minimize the negative impact of the enterprise and its products on the environment;
- reduce energy consumption at all stages of production;
- improve energy performance and improve the energy management system;
- eliminate hazards and reduce risks in the field of health protection and labor safety;
- provide advanced training and improve competence of personnel.
