A Dry Mix Mortar Plant Launches in Bashkortostan in the Summer of 2020

A dry mortar production plant with a design capacity of 424,000 tons per year should be commissioned in the Abzelilovsky district of the Republic of Bashkortostan in July 2020. The plant is a project of the German manufacturer of mixtures Lasselsberger and its Russian affiliate company OOO “Cemix”. According to the regional government reports the business plan and financial model of the investment project was developed by specialists of the Development Corporation of the Republic of Bashkortostan.

The total investments in the construction of the plant amounts to 2.2 billion rubles. The plant will also have a white cement production facility with a capacity of 200,000 tons per year, a microcalcite facility with a capacity of 100,000 tons per year, and a dry mix preparation and packaging facility with a capacity of 300,000 tons per year. The plant will use local marbled limestone from a deposit in the Abzelilovsky district.

The launch of the enterprise is expected on July 1, 2020. The project has already passed an expert assessment, and is now in its final stage. As stated by the Regional Government, the construction is 70% complete, and 80% of the equipment is already in Russia.

Earlier this year, the Government announced the plant would receive the status of a priority investment project, and a package of all necessary documents was prepared. The status allows the company for state support in the form of preferential tax treatment for revenue and property taxes.
