Grand opening of a new technological line for the production of hollow-core slabs without formwork took place on May 21 in the forming-reinforcement shop at the "Precast concrete plant No. 3 of Vitebsk" branch of "Krichevcementnoshifer". The line is equipped by an Italian manufacturer.
The maximum daily productivity of new Italian equipment is up to 600 m2 of floor area, or 22.5 thousand m3 of precast concrete products per year. BCC holding invested over 6 million Belarusian rubles in its acquisition and installation. Putting the line into operation will increase labor productivity by almost 60%, profitability of sales - by 6%.
The implementation of the project will make it possible to produce new products that are in demand both at construction sites in Belarus and abroad. In particular, hollow-core floor slabs will be supplied to a house-building plant in Pskov. The implementation of the project became possible thanks to the support of the managing company of the holding “Belarusian Cement Company” and “Krichevcementnoshifer”.
The solemn event was attended by the chairman of Vitebsk regional executive committee N.N. Sherstnev; Head of the Main Directorate of the Industry of Building Materials and Structures of the Ministry of Architecture and Construction of the Republic of Belarus L.V. Norik; Chairman of the Standing Commission on Housing Policy and Construction of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus V.P. Nikolaykin; General Director of the State Enterprise “Management Company of the Holding “Belarusian Cement Company” A.S. Dovgalo; Deputy General Director of "Krichevcementnoshifer" I.O. Sergeev, as well as other representatives of the Holding Management Company.
The immediate plans of the plant are the modernization of production in the concrete mixing shop.
The plant of reinforced concrete structures was commissioned in May 1956, the main activity is the production of building products and structures, ready-mixed concrete and mortars. The plant was reorganized - in 2017 it was merged with Krichevcementnoshifer. The team of the branch carried out measures for the technical re-equipment of production and modernization of equipment, transfer of overhead cranes to control from the floor, modernization of formwork equipment. In 2019, the production of ventilation blocks was established, in November 2020, a new technological line for the production of paving slabs was launched.
