AO Angarsk-Cement summed up results of its work in the first half of 2021

Between January and June, AO Angarsk-Cement (managed by AO HC Sibcem) produced 310,000 tons of cement, 8% more than in the first half of 2020. The company produced 64,000 tons of Portland cement CEM II/A-Z 32.5R and CEM II/A-G 32.5R (with additives), 212,000 tons of cement CEM I 42. 5N without additives, and 35,000 tons of PC 500 D0-N.

In the first six months of 2021, 300 kt of cement were shipped to consumers, 7% more than in the same period of 2020. 166,000 tons (+15% compared to 2020) were shipped by rail, 134,000 tons (-1%) - of which 27% (37,000 tons) were transported by the company's own cement trucks.

In spring AO Angarsk-Cement received two loaders - a front-end loader and a forklift. A bulldozer for loading material into open top wagons and dump cars was purchased for the Pereval quarry.

First stage of the cable overpass construction and upgrade of transformer substation No. 3 are being completed. Commissioning of the facilities is planned for August 2021. AO HC Sibcem's total costs will be about RUB 225 million.

By 2022, the separator at cement mills No. 6 and No. 7 will be replaced with a new one.

"This year Angarsk-Cement expects to produce 637 kt of cement - 56 kt more than in 2020," notes Vladimir Afanasin, managing director of AO Angarsk-Cement. - The growth of shipments in the first half of the year allows us to count on a further increase in cement market capacity.
