Asia Cement plant near Penza has recently installed new calciner burners produced by Unitherm Cemcon. The equipment allowed the plant to improve the calcination process. This year, thanks to the work of the plant’s R&D specialists, the early strength, activity and fluidity of the cement produced at the plant were improved.
At the beginning of the year, the plant launched the production of water proof cement, CEM II/V-Sh 42.5N (GOST 31108-2016). In February this year Asia Cement’s R&D developed a project for the use of waste tires, woodworking waste and MSW for use as process fuel.
Asia Cement is a dry-process cement plant with a capacity of about 2 million tpa, shipping its products by road and rail.
