A EUROCEMENT group subsidiary, Kavkazcement has launched mass production of CEM II/A-I 42.5N. After successfully conducting research and testing, the company received a certificate of conformity for Portland cement with mineral additives.
This Portland cement is suitable for the construction of structures and facilities operating under aggressive environmental conditions. The use of cements with mineral additives reduces the likelihood of efflorescence, cracks and other defects.
The logistics complex of Kavkazcement is ready to ship products in bulk by road and rail transport, in 50 kg bags on pallets and big bags of 1 ton each.
“Expanding the product line will allow us to increase production volumes and provide construction companies of the South of Russia with high-quality cement with stable characteristics,” says Nikolai Muradov, general director of Kavkazcement.
The construction of a new grinding facility was completed at the plant at the end of 2019. The rotary kiln repairs were finalized commencing the launch of a kiln after years of downtime.
Investments in repairs in 2020 alone amounted to 400 million rubles.
Kavkazcement is the largest cement producer in the North Caucasus. The design capacity of the enterprise is 3.4 million tpa.
