Atomstroykompleks to Receive Gas Pipeline for Cement and Lime Production

A gas pipeline to the Atomstroykompleks’ “Izvest’ Syserti” lime plant will be built this year. The pipeline will also supply their new cement plant — ASK-Cement — that is expected for commissioning during 2020.

An outlet gas pipeline with a working pressure of 5.4 MPa and a capacity of 40,000 cubic meters per hour is designed to supply gas from the Bukhara-Ural gas pipeline to the “Izvest’ Syserti” gas distribution station. The site should be serviced by ‘Gazprom Transgaz Yekaterinburg’.

“Izvest’ Syserti” is one of the largest Russian producers of lime, an enterprise with a production capacity of 140,000 tons per year.

ASK-Cement is a plant that has been under construction since 2018. The plant has recently received a 170-meter rotary kiln. Atomstroykompleks is going to put out the first batch of its own cement in about six months, once ASK-Cement is up and running. The design capacity of the plant is estimated at about 460,000 tons per year.

As the largest developer of the Urals, Atomstroykompleks also owns a design institute and 11 more plants producing building and finishing materials.
